There’s a fine line between a recipe and something so simple it’s not much more than a collection of ingredients. For instance, I feel this line has been crossed whenever I see a recipe for a sandwich. So I’m not sure whether to call this a recipe, because once you’ve bought the smoked salmon, creme fraiche and lemon (and horseradish), you don’t really have to do much except mix it together and spread it on bread. But it is delicious. It’s also the first recipe that I’ve used from the award-winning Ireland AM.
Smoked Salmon and Creme Fraiche
1 tub of creme fraiche (about 100ml)
200g hot smoked salmon, flaked
1 bunch of dill, chopped
Juice of half a lemon
2 tsp horseradish sauce
Mix everything together, season to taste, and serve with some good bread.
