Oh wow! It had never occurred to me to use milk and not water. I'm guessing that's full fat milk. But why stop there? Why not cream? With a dill pickle to cut through the richness, that sounds delicious!

Is the soup Campbell's Condensed made with milk and not water? Drop a pat of butter in the middle and let it melt. As for the grilled cheese, my favorite variation is to add sliced dill pickle after grilling. And sometimes when it is open to add the pickle, I'll hit the cheese with a few drops of Tobasco.

Oh, that sounds good - I'll try that next time. Usually I let Wendy handle the Mexican food, and I can never get it quite right...

To add a bit of favor to the salsa, add some lemon and lime juice to the mix-a tablespoon or so of each will do. You can aso add some avacado.

We just eat them as is - they're quite filling and the mint and feta give them their own flavour. Having said that, a slice of bacon never did anyone any harm.

So I assume you don't put butter and maple syrup on them. Are they just eaten as is or is there some traditional side order that go with them? I may try them on Friday.

No, we didn't see Kinky Friedman - it was expensive, and we were probably at Cypress Avenue watching some mournful indie band...

The main problem with this recipe is that YOU WILL WANT TO EAT THE PEA PUREE WITH A SPOON STRAIGHT FROM THE BLENDER JUG. It is that good.
